Mary-Lela calls herself a mixed artist because she creates such a mixed variety of art. Her work includes: paintings in oil, pastel, acrylic, mixed media ; jewelry, photography, walking sticks, mosaics, sculpture and basket work. She says, “If I’m inspired to create something I’ll try it.” I am open to any kind of medium. Mary-Lela was chosen as one of the pastel exhibitors in the 14th Annual National Pastel Painting Exhibition - 2005 held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also accepts custom commissions originating from your photographs of pets, wildlife, landscape vacation spots, still lifes, and antique treasures.
