I have my degree in Creative arts from San Jose State University in San Jose, California.
I have studied Ceramics, Textiles, Theater, Music, Watercolor, Weaving, Dance and Photography. I am most inspired by patterns in Nature. I also love crossing over between mediums, or combining more than one medium; so mixed media appeals to me. Love making books and dolls. I use kelp for heads and wrap with fabric and add found objects. Working with watercolor and pastels together I can put down my response quickly to something I see in Nature. I love cutting up and re-weaving my old pieces, forming new visual stimulus. I now sell my cards made from these old pieces at the Mabel Dodge Luhan House. |

I enjoy playing with beads, painting on Silk, teaching Classes in my Art Studio and out in the yard around my house. I've begun leading trips where we can combine fun with creative projects such as writing, painting or healing experiences. I invite teachers from different fields to join us on these trips, which usually are overnight stays(some camping) at powerful sites in Nature. I totally believe the "Power of Place" informs our work. So progressive Retreats help us experience the different vibrations of several places. |
